SBI PO 2016- Eligibility Criteria
To apply for SBI Probationary Officer 2016 examination, candidates must fulfill the listed eligibility criteria with respect to the age, educational qualification and nationality.
Nationality- Only Indian will be eligible to apply for the post. Candidates should have a valid ID proof of the Indian Nationality that they can show at the time of Examination.
Age Limit (01 April 2016)- Candidate’s age must not be below than 21 years and should not be above that 30 years i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02 April 1986 and not later than 01 April 1995 (both days inclusive). Relaxation to the candidates belonging to reserve categories will be provided as per the Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification (as on 31 August 2016)– Candidates must have attained a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification.
SBI PO 2016- Application Procedure
Candidates who satisfy all the eligibility norms can apply for the SBI PO Exam 2016 through online mode. Online registration is the only process to apply for the examination. However, candidates will be able to do so from the May 2016. To fill the SBI PO 2016 Online form, candidates will need the scanned copy of their photograph and signature with a particular specification. Alongside, candidates have to submit an application fee of Rs 600/- (for General & Others) and Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST/PWD)
SBI PO 2016- Selection Procedure
In order to qualify the SBI Probationary Officer 2016 Examination, candidates should pass each and every level of the selection process. Candidates need to qualify the 03 rounds of selection procedure i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personal Interview/ Group Discussion round.

Candidates who qualify the SBI PO 2016 Prelims Exam will be allowed to appear in the Main Examination.
SBI PO 2016- Main Exam
Main Examination will consist of two online tests i.e. Objective Tests and Descriptive Test. Candidates will have to type the answer of the Descriptive test on the computer. Descriptive test will be conducted immediately after the Objective Test. Check details below-
(i) Objective Test: The Objective Test of 2 hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:
- English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
- General Awareness, Marketing &Computers
- Data Analysis & Interpretation
- Reasoning (High Level)
The candidates have to qualify each Test by securing minimum passing marks.
(ii) Descriptive Test: The duration of Descriptive Test is 1 hour and comprises of 50 marks. It will be an English Language test wherein candidates need to write a Letter & Essay.
SBI PO 2016- Admit Card
Admit Card of SBI PO 2016 will be issued online on the official website of the State Bank of India. No hard copy of SBI PO Call Letter 2016 will be sent to the candidates, hence, to appear in the examination candidates need to download the SBI PO admit card, online.
